Offline status means that the camera has not successfully connected to Wi-Fi. In this case, the camera will not function properly. Please check the following possible reasons for the camera being offline and troubleshoot them one by one:
1. Confirm if the camera is powered on. If it is off, press and hold the power button to turn it on. If it does not power on, check if the camera has sufficient battery charge it before attempting to turn it on.
2. Camera's network is disconnected or unstable.
- Check if the camera is properly connected to the network and if the Wi-Fi signal is stable.
- Verify if the router connected to the camera is functioning properly and able to access the internet.
- Test the router's functionality by checking if other devices (such as a mobile phone) can connect to the Wi-Fi and access the internet. If the router is not working correctly, adjust its settings or seek assistance to ensure proper functionality.
- Check if the Wi-Fi name and password on the router have been modified. If they have been changed, you need to re-add the camera and connect it to the updated Wi-Fi credentials.
How to get camera back online:
1. Try restarting the camera. Make sure the camera has power first, and then press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the camera, then turn it back on. The camera should automatically reconnect. If this does not work, use a pin to push the reboot hole located next to the power button to perform a hard reset of the camera.
2.If all else fails, you can try removing and re-adding the camera in the app.
