Issue: Birdfy Nest cannot enter Wi-Fi config mode (status light does not flash blue)
-
Ensure that, after turning on the device (indicated by a solid blue status light), you double-press the power button.
-
If the status light remains solid blue even after double-pressing the power button, use the provided ejector pin to poke the reboot hole located next to the power button. Then, power on the device and try double-pressing to enter pairing mode again.
Issue: Birdfy Nest cannot scan the QR code on your phone
-
If the blue light was blinking before and turns solid blue when you hold the QR code near the exterior camera, it indicates a successful scan. You should be able to proceed to the next step. If the app does not progress to the next stage, it suggests a connection failure, possibly due to an incorrect Wi-Fi password. Please return to the previous page, verify your password, and try again.
-
If the blue light flashes for 10-15 seconds and then turns solid blue, it may indicate a loosely plugged cable in the exterior camera. Replug the cable, use the provided ejector pin to poke the reboot hole, power on the device, and attempt the pairing process again.
